Keane – Perfect Symmetry

O novo álbum dos Keane era um acontecimento que esperava com enorme ansiedade. Estava com grandes expectativas, pois cada álbum que eles lançam eu desejo ouvir logo nas primeiras horas após o seu lançamento. É incrível que é das poucas bandas que me desperta esta curiosidade desenfreada.
Este Perfect Symmetry tem um nome que lhe cai na perfeição, aliás perfeição poderá ser a tradução exemplar para lhe chamar. Desde os primeiros minutinhos em que o ouvi, fiquei coladinha e de ouvido super atento.
É um álbum com músicas mais alegres, muito mais animadas, do que algumas dos seus antecessores. E desde há uma semana que me faz companhia horas a fio.
O single de apresentação, Spiralling, de início não me cativou muito, mas cada vez que a voltava a ouvir mais eu gostava dela, até que se tornou irresistível. O próximo single, previsto para sair ainda durante este mês, dá pelo nome de Lovers Are Losing e é uma das minhas músicas favoritas de todo o álbum. Destaco ainda a música que dá nome ao álbum, Perfect Symmetry.
Os Keane contam já com 3 álbuns e cada um melhor que o outro. Mesmo o anterior, Iron Sea, que de início me pareceu uma pequena desilusão, depressa se tornou num CD que me acompanha para todo o lado. Não é à toa que eles são uma das minhas bandas favoritas nos dias que correm.
Muito por culpa de um outro “vício” meu, com muita pena minha, não irei vê-los ao Coliseu (local bem escolhido!!!) no dia 12 de Novembro. Talvez na proximidade desse dia assista a um outro espectáculo que anseio ver ainda mais, só para não sentir a falta deste concerto.
