Afterglow – INXS

Ando doidinha por uma música, a nova dos INXS, o Afterglow.
Sempre tive muitas dúvidas quanto ao regresso dos INXS sem o Michael Hutchence, e falando a verdade, esta é a única música do álbum que me diz alguma coisa, aliás bateu-me forte. Passo o dia inteiro a trautear a melodia.
Afterglow é o 2º single do novo álbum. Foi escrita por Andrew Farriss e Desmond Child. Fala do respeito pela morte e da necessidade de se continuar sem frente sem que o passado interfira no futuro. Para os INXS é uma música que fala da ultrapassagem da morte do seu antigo vocalista.
A forma como foi escolhido o novo vocalista da banda, J.D. Fortune, é no mínimo original. Foi feito um reality show só com esse propósito. O escolhido passou 11 semanas de provas.
A música tem uma letra lindíssima, a qual vou partilhar com todos vós.
